‘Wherever You Are’
Military Wives with Gareth Malone
Making the video for Military Wives ‘Wherever You Are’ was a very special moment for us. It tells the emotionally charged story of the wives and partners of soldiers coming together and forming a choir led by Gareth Malone.
Initially conceived as a small YouTube clip until Chris Evans played the song on Radio 2 and the video premiered on The One Show. It went on to break Amazon’s presale records and became the UK’s Christmas number 1.
It currently has over 3 million views on YouTube. We produced and directed several other Military Wives and Gareth Malone videos for Decca Records.
Directing ‘Freak Dance’ for Denise Pearson, the lead singer of iconic pop group Five Star, was an incredible experience. Filmed at the stunning Rivoli Ballroom and featuring an amazing cast of dancers from the West End blockbuster musical Thriller Live, the video infuses an eclectic, compelling mix of dance styles choreographed by Gary Lloyd.
The ‘Freak Dance’ video premiered on The Wright Stuff, where Matthew Wright declared “Absolutely Fabulous ! I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a video as much.”
‘Freak Dance’ was a collaboration with the award winning producer of ‘Thriller Live’, Adrian Grant, who we continue to collaborate with to this day.
Set on the beautiful Mediterranean island Malta, Anita’s Wizard of Oz inspired debut music video was a wonderful and challenging project to produce and direct. We shot all over the island including dusty deserted roads, exotic beaches and through Valletta’s myriad of Baroque architecture all in the sizzling heat.
We even captured Anita tearing through the water on a jet ski wearing high heels.
It was one of the most fun and exciting videos we’ve ever worked on. The video received acclaim from Britain’s number one Asian newspaper Eastern Eye and Anita performed the track live on Radio 1.
Mombasa Rocks Festival
Chris Brown and WizKid
Headlined by superstars Chris Brown and WizKid in 2016, Mobassa Rocks was one of the biggest music festivals Kenya had ever witnessed. We created this breakneck sizzler for the promoters.
It captures all the excitement of the crowd, the red hot performances, the sheer scale of the event and even a personal message from Chris Brown.
