Featuring Grammy award winning musician Kirk Whalum, it explores the childhood musical inspirations that sparked his lifelong passion for playing saxophone. It was a real joy to collaborate with Kirk, whose boundless energy and enthusiasm kept the whole crew motivated to give their very best.

In the second film of the series, Kirk reflects on the obstacles that almost derailed his career and the advice that changed his life as he went on to beat the odds in the face of great adversity.

The conclusion of the trilogy focuses on Kirk’s current musical odyssey Humanité, his inspiring new album which he recorded all over the world including Africa, Asia, and Europe. In collaborating with artists of all ages, cultures, and walks of life, Kirk hopes to not only create exciting new sounds, but to also overcome bigotry and hate with unity and love.

Kent County Council commissioned us to create a series of warm nostalgic films to form a big internet/social media campaign designed to promote tourism. This 30 second advert was screened in cinemas across the UK. It involved directing a large scale production that required cranes and helicopter shots to capture the full beauty of the stunning Kent landscapes.
